Our Mission
To proclaim Jesus Christ and faithfully teach the Word of God in English and Spanish—on the streets, in homes, online, and in congregations—serving people with compassion and directing every listener to the Scriptures.
Ministerio Jesús Vive
“Freely we have received; freely we share.”
Matthew 10:8Ministerio Jesús Vive
A not-for-profit Christian ministry devoted to biblical teaching, Gospel outreach, and compassionate service.
To proclaim Jesus Christ and faithfully teach the Word of God in English and Spanish—on the streets, in homes, online, and in congregations—serving people with compassion and directing every listener to the Scriptures.
To see people reached with the Gospel, strengthened in sound doctrine, and equipped to live faithfully for Christ, building bridges among families, churches, and communities through biblical teaching and practical service.
What we believe
Our doctrinal convictions are summarized by the Philadelphia Confession of Faith of 1742, received as a faithful historical expression of Reformed Baptist belief. The confession remains subordinate to Holy Scripture, our only sufficient, certain, and infallible rule of faith and obedience.
Download the Philadelphia Confession →The inspired Word of God is the final authority for doctrine, worship, and Christian life.
There is one living and true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternal and sovereign over all things.
Jesus Christ, truly God and truly man, accomplished redemption through His obedient life, atoning death, and victorious resurrection.
Salvation is entirely by God's grace, received through faith in Christ, producing repentance, holiness, and perseverance.
Christ gathers local churches of professing believers, with baptism and the Lord's Supper observed according to His command.
Christ reigns now from heaven and will return bodily for the resurrection, final judgment, and everlasting glory of His people.
About Brother David
Born in 1978 to Ecuadorian parents and now living in New Jersey, Brother David Silva is a Christian devoted to studying theology and preparing himself to share the Word of God with clarity and faithfulness. His teaching reaches beyond the walls of a church—from public streets and family homes to the Ministerio Jesús Vive YouTube channel and congregations that invite him to preach.
Brother David is married to Evelyn Plaza, and together they are the parents of Adrián, Arianna, and Abdiel. Family and ministry remain at the heart of their lives. At times, they gather with fellow believers in their homes to study Scripture; at others, they serve on the streets of Paterson by distributing clothing and food while proclaiming the Gospel.
His messages are shared in both English and Spanish so that more people can hear and examine the truth of Scripture. In the midst of a world marked by confusion, conflict, and deep spiritual need, his purpose is to point people to the unchanging Word of God and to the saving hope found in Jesus Christ.

Giving with purpose
An offering is always voluntary. Ministerio Jesús Vive encourages every believer to let generosity reach people who are truly in need—those facing hunger, hardship, and life on the streets.
Material help matters, but the deepest need is also spiritual. Our desire is to serve with compassion while sharing the hope of the Gospel with those who may never have heard it clearly.
A secure online giving option may be added later, together with clear information about its purpose and use.
